SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Housekeeper / House Manager to maintain the pristine condition and smooth operation of our client's high-end residence in Del Mar, CA. . The ideal candidate will work three (3) days a week focused on housekeeping, and two (2) days a week focusing on house management.


When conducting the housekeeping, the candidate is expected to deliver exceptional cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities will include thorough cleaning of all areas, including fine furnishings, delicate surfaces, and high-end appliances, as well as managing laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care. Attention to detail and a proactive approach are essential to ensure that the home remains in impeccable condition at all times.


In addition to housekeeping duties, the role involves overseeing the daily management of the household. This includes coordinating with vendors, managing household supplies, and overseeing maintenance and repair tasks. The candidate will also handle scheduling and organizing events, ensuring that all aspects of household operations run seamlessly. Strong organizational and communication skills are required to effectively liaise with both the homeowners and service providers.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage various projects and vendor activities, ensuring each project is completed successfully and efficiently.

  • Conduct regular property inspections; identify and report issues, then arrange and supervise vendors in resolving these issues effectively and timely.

  • Manage home maintenance, overseeing all aspects of property upkeep and repairs.

  • Oversee household inventory, ensuring adequate supply and organization of household items.

  • Maintain all floors/carpets/rugs (sweep, scrub, vacuum, mop & polish)

  • Maintain furniture & upholstery

  • Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms & common areas

  • Wash dishes & appliances

  • Load/unload dishwashers

  • Keep home edited of debris & clutter – home should be set & staged always for guests & entertaining

  • Scheduled deep cleanings of interior household (upholstery, appliances and fixtures) as required during family travels.

  • Assist during holidays and private events as needed.

  • Can show flexibility and go the extra mile when needed to get the job done.

  • Has deep knowledge and experience in the care of fine finishing’s, special. surfaces and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques.

  • Understands clearly which cleaning products work and which ones are not appropriate.

  • Maintain clothing, washing, steaming, ironing and caring of luxury fine linens and delicate fabrics.

  • Able to respond to requests timely and follow through until completed.

  • Can graciously accept feedback and apply lessons learned.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

● At least 5 years of relevant experience

● Experienced in hospitality or family office settings.

● Strong analytical, learning, and communication skills, with strict adherence to confidentiality.

● Technologically proficient, particularly with G-suite, iPhone etc.

● Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong multitasking, prioritizing, and problem-solving abilities.

● Positive and team-focused, with outstanding interpersonal skills and vendor management experience.

● Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

● Flexible schedule, willing to work different shifts as needed. (e.g., holidays, weekends, evenings, etc.)

● Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to pass extensive background checks.
