SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and professional part-time housekeeper for a private residence in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining large, luxury homes and understands the high level of detail and discretion required in an estate setting.

This role requires someone who is meticulous, dependable, and proactive in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-functioning home. Responsibilities include detailed cleaning and sanitization of all living areas, laundry care (washing, folding, organizing), dusting and mopping, inventorying and restocking household supplies, assisting with light meal preparation, and reporting any maintenance issues as needed.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Perform daily routine cleaning duties throughout all interior areas

  • Maintain furniture & upholstery

  • Wash dishes & appliances

  • Keep home edited of debris & clutter – home should be set & staged always for guests & entertaining

  • Can show flexibility and go the extra mile when needed to get the job done.

  • Has deep knowledge and experience in the care of fine finishing’s, special. surfaces and how to work around high-end artwork and antiques.

  • Understands clearly which cleaning products work and which ones are not appropriate.

  • Able to respond to requests timely and follow through until completed.

  • Can graciously accept feedback and apply lessons learned.

  • Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.

  • Assist with meal preparation and light cooking as needed.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be be able to speak English.

  • Excellent verbal references required from both current and previous employers.

  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and additional hours as needed.

  • Must agree to and pass a thorough background and reference check.

  • Must be legally able to work in the United States.

  • Experience in the care of high-end furniture, carpets & rugs, stone, marble, metals & wood materials.

  • A positive attitude and commitment to high standards of house keeping while maintaining the needs and wishes of the residents.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and prioritize work schedules.

  • Good communication skills.

  • The ability to work as part of a team and to promote harmonious working relationships.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and additional hours as needed.
